Smart Home Show Off Echo Show 5 Google Nest Hub vs Echo Show 8

Amazon has a deal on their Echo show 5 and Echo show 8 with a blink Mini for only 5 dollars more. The Blink Mini is normally 35 dollars so I can get an Echo Show 5 for 30 dollars or the Echo Show 8 for 60 dollars! Which one should I get?

Right now the only options I am looking at are under 90 dollars.

Echo show 5 seems okay, but the speakers aren't very good and the screen is rather small why not just use my phone?

Echo show 8 seems alright with a nicer speaker system and bigger screen, but the interface seems significantly worse than Google's. Why would you not be able to use Youtube? I thought the beef was done.

All this is leading me towards is ignoring the deals I see. I know I like Google Home's atmopshere better but the speaker quality is lacking. The Echo Show has two 10W drivers that push out significantly more sound.

The truth of the matter is, I don't need any of these devices... I have a bedside alarm clock/lamp/wireless charger I just got. I still might buy one just to see if my life improves. I am interested in smart interfaces as well. I love Google and do not want to switch to Alexa for a bundled security Camera. Nice try tho
